The pinwheel is a metaphor for how a creative works. An idea comes along, spins your mind around and around, and what comes of that spinning is another creation of art. We want to continue spinning around, making sure that we change, because change means we have grown. In other words, grow up, but not too much. The pinwheel is a toy after all – a reminder that life shouldn’t be taken too seriously.
